Using the Bump Mapping Option to Render Textures

Bump Mapping in Photoshop can be done with relative ease and is capable of creating an infinite variety of textures from subtle to intense.

The feature is, however, buried away in one of Photoshop's filters so it may not be one of the most obvious options when you need to create a texture. However with practice the tool can be used to very good effect. In this video a bump mapped texture is combined with other textures to create a stimulating and colourful backdrop to a future project.
